Batik Air, Lion Air in Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Move Domestic Operations

TEMPO.CO , Tangerang - Low-cost airliner Lion Air and Batik Air announced that their domestic flights services and operational departures and arrivals at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Tangerang will be conquered starting August 2, 2022.

“[The operations of] Batik Air attempts to Terminal 2D from gate 2 and [the operations of] Lion Air attempts to Terminal 2E from gate 4,” said Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air Group, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

He added that international flights services remain at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

Danang said the second of this service was based on coordination and cooperation with state-run airport management  PT Angkasa Pura II (AP II), regulators, air traffic controllers AirNav Indonesia, and other relevant partners, in a bid to facilitate and expedite the procedure of air travel for passengers.

“Hopefully, the synergy will cease to be established in order to operate and assist passengers better,” Danang said.
