Jakarta to Soon Reopen Tebet Eco Park, Sets 5 Parking Lots
TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - South Jakarta Administration has set five parking locations ahead of the reopening of Tebet Eco Park in the Tebet area. Head of the South jakarta Transportation Department, Susilo Dewanto, said that the parking lots are set for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles.
The locations are at Huma Sarana Jaya, at Junior High School SMPN 73 jakarta, Graha Pratama building, Wisma Pede building, and gas station SPBU 31-128.
Susilo said the parking areas are the answer to the public's concern over the lack of parking lots when visiting the park.
Sarana Jaya parking spot, which is still under construction, will have the capacity of 102 cars and 335 motorcycles. SMPN 73 Jakarta can accommodate 50 cars and 200 motorcycles, and Gedung Graha Pratama has the capacity of 100 cars and 150 motorcycles.
The progressive tariff is set at Rp5,000 for the first one hour and Rp4,000 for the next hours for cars. For the motorcycles, it is set at Rp2,000 in the first one hour and Rp2,000 for the next hours.
Meanwhile, Gedung Wisma Pede can accommodate 100 cars and 150 motorcycles. The progressive tariff for the car is Rp5,000 for the first one hour and Rp4,000 for the next hours. As for the motorcycles is Rp2,000 in the first one hour and Rp2,000 for the next hours.
Next, gas station SPBU 31-128 has the capacity of 20 cars and 50 motorcycles with the same tariff as the Geothermal parking areas. The tariff was set based on the jakarta Governor Regulations No. 120/ 2012 regarding parking tariffs at public parking facilities outside of the roads.
South jakarta administration is also preparing for Tebet Eco Park to be a low emission zone (LEZ), which will apply on the weekends and national holidays.
